The sulfur baths of Kavasila

Kavasila, Greece, august 21, 2003.
Every morning a bus goes from Konitsa to the baths of Kavasila. There is a smell of rotting eggs, but after a while one gets used to it. There are baths in the open air and inside a sober building. There are also a doctor and a physio therapist, though the small entrance fee of the dozen guests could never be enough to sustain them. This doctor has measured the blood pressure of Evchenia. Alas, Evchenia has forgotten to take her pills and her blood pressure is too high to bathe.
