The Tangent Onnoot works a lot these days at the computer and today felt like putting on some music. Google found plenty of progressive radio stations, unfortunately with a lot of rigid, boring progrock. Until Onnoot heard the Swedish/British band The Tangent. Long compositions that keep your attention, surprises, humor, great drumming, from the best jazzrock traditions, swinging bass, fresh keyboards, saxophone, flute, Mellotron, Hammond. Na uitgebreid luisteren kan ik u vooral de eerste cd aanbevelen: "the music that died alone". De volgende cd's zijn wat saaier.
